Looking Glass, Ltd.

Thank you for your interest in Looking Glass, Ltd.. I have been working in the oil and gas industry for 20 years and I have extensive experience (>12 years) in sandstone research using microscopy to investigate the diagenetic transformation of sands post deposition. 

I started my career at BP America where I worked for a variety of business units.  At BP, much of my work entailed reservoir quality prediction modeling using Touchstone as well as extensive QC’ing data inputs and outputs in the modeling process.  In 2008, we moved our family to Denver, Colorado where I worked on many of the then up-and-coming unconventional plays, delineating sweet spots in numerous North American basins. From 2011-2020 I worked in the private equity sector focusing on acquisitions and divestitures solely in their early field development phase for various North American plays.

In 2018, I decided to come full-circle and return to the microscopic world where I can leverage my accumulated knowledge from the breadth of my experiences.  I am very familiar with microscope data collection necessary to build good RQ models, but I'm also well-versed in data integration utilizing well log and other data types in order to construct comprehensive subsurface models at the regional or local scale.

I am aware that all data Looking Glass generates for a company should have economic impact and ultimately answer important questions that will make the exploration/development effort a success.
